A New Hobby

Ryan has discovered puzzles! He has a Lighting McQueen puzzle, Pooh & Tigger, & 3 foot Thomas Train puzzle.

He wants Dad to help him, but Dad doesn't need to do any of the work! Ryan can do it all by himself.

Very focused.....

This is the big Thomas puzzle!

Dad & Ryan Fieldtrip - The Shedd

In February, Jason took Ryan to the Shedd Aquarium. Lots to see and do!

They have this neat rowboat....

And LOTS of fish to see!......

And Ryan wanted his picture taken by the Chicago shoreline. Looks like a beautiful day!, except it was a bit chilly.

Ski Weekend in Wisconsin

I'm very behind with my blog updates, so here goes....

At the end of January, we made our annual trek to Wisconsin with family/friends for ski weekend at Cascade. We stayed in the Dells. This year, I had a REALLY good excuse not to ski (in addition to being pregnant).....I slipped on the wet floor and broke my ankle the sunday before we left. Ryan and I were very fortunate that Jessica and Haley were along for the trip and played with us at the hotel pool on Saturday and Sunday while the others were skiing.

Ryan taking a walk with Grandpa to gather all the skiis...

Haley was such a good friend! - she played in the pool with Ryan all day and shared all her toys.

Ryan's going to be a big brother!

Our big news is that Ryan is going to be a big brother! Baby Murr is due August 6th.
He was so excited when we told him the news that he tried to eat one if his trains! (Madge, the truck, actually).

All Aboard Ryan's train!!

Jason and Ryan were home together yesterday and sent this picture to me at work. It's taken with Ryan's kiddo camera, so the quality is not that great, but you get the idea.

Engineers at work!....

Sesame Street Live!

We had front row seats at the Rialto - although we were as far to the left as you could go. Ryan loved the show and Mom was amazed at how the characters dance and dance in those big, hot costumes. Ryan's first "show" and Mom/Dad's first time at the Rialto.
